Live where you are.

That simple phrase has become the mantra for my fine art photography. In an era where everyone is always overscheduled, living a full creative life often means making the most of what’s right in front of you, finding inspiration wherever you happen to be.

For me, that inspiration is found in simple things and small pleasures – a window lit by early light, a solitary tree warmed by the late day sun or a sailboat silhouetted in an ethereal morning fog. My biggest reward as a photographer comes when someone says my work encourages them to look for this kind of beauty in their own lives.

Based in Washington, DC, I work digitally in both color and black-and-white. Some of my imagery incorporates textures to further my vision. I am drawn to isolated elements in both intimate and grand landscapes and my images often reflect themes of quietness and solitude.

I am a juried member of Multiple Exposures Gallery at the Torpedo Factory Art Center in Alexandria, VA, and participate in art shows throughout the region. My work has been purchased for placement in hotels, government offices and private collections. 

My images are available in multiple sizes, printed on fine art papers using archival pigment inks.
